ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is re-imagining how students move through their world with the launch of its new mobile application, Livvi. The application is the latest offering from ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions’ suite of mobile access solutions.
Designed to deliver a secure, convenient user-experience for both students and property managers, Livvi lets students use their mobile device to open doors and access defined areas, securely and easily without carrying a physical key.
Property managers benefit from intuitive oversight and administration. They can easily issue and revoke credentials remotely, directly to the mobile device, simplifying changeover during move in and out season and reducing overall workloads.
On-site security is significantly enhanced by eliminating physical access cards, which are all too often mislaid. Removing the possibility of shared cards or fobs reduces the chance of unauthorized subletting.
Individual staff member access rights can be defined across single or multiple sites and available either 24/7 or restricted to certain days and times based on need. Staff no longer have to spend time going back and forth between different locations to authorize, collect and hand over cards and fobs.
Other administrative features include lock battery status reporting and staff access tracking, plus the ability to issue keys for future arrivals and receive and handle maintenance requests from students. Residences can even brand the app with customizable graphics, bringing it in line with a broader visual language.
“Students today do everything on their phone. With Livvi we deliver a seamless experience for both students and operators that meets their needs of mobility, immediacy, and convenience without compromising on security,” said Polina Popova, global business development director of education solutions for ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions. “Students need no longer worry about losing their physical keys or fobs and getting locked out from their apartment. Operators can deliver a great first-time experience for their students during the changeover and reduce the burden for on-site personnel while enhancing security across student housing properties.”
Powered by Seos, the world’s first multi-platform ecosystem for issuing, delivering and revoking digital keys, Livvi is compatible with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions’ VingCard Classic, Signature, Allure, Essence, Flex locks, as well as Remote Controllers. The app is available for iOS and Android mobile devices and can be downloaded through the Apple App Store and Google Play. For more information, visit www.assaabloyglobalsolutions.com/Education.
